Lumber Milling (Saw Milling) 101

During this workshop, you will gain hands-on experience turning logs into lumber using a custom made bandsaw mill. Once the lumber is milled and dried, it can be used to build housing, furniture, boats, artwork, or if you are Howard Hughes, an Airplane! 

These are the topics we will be covering during the workshop:

• How to prep the logs once the trees are cut
• Diffrent timber species and their application
• How to stack for proper drying
• how to run a lumber mill

Each person will have the opportunity to work trade to repay their ticket once the class is complete at a rate of $10/hr
