Our Story
Once upon a time, as custom home builders, we mostly built high end custom homes. Meanwhile our own homes, although they were nice, were not providing for our basic necessities. We were relying on the economy to function in order to buy most of what we needed and pay the mortgage. But after the 2008 mortgage crisis, things changed.
Our company developed through the crisis while others went under. We did so due to a diversity of skillsets, and the creation of our own homestead, the Seneca Treehouse Project.
After some research, and speaking with our elders, we learned that he economy will crash every 8-12 years.
During this phase, we also learned about the negative impact we have on our planet due to high rates of consumption.
We began creating our own homestead and building resilience for the next crash and our mission was born:

We believe one of best ways to create resilience and provide for your family is through diversifying your skillsets and developing a homestead. We define a homestead as a residence that provides for its inhabitants. A homestead can provide food, fuel, fiber, and finance, which all lead to freedom!
